Recycled paper is paper made from recycled paper fibers rather than virgin wood fibers. It is made by recovering already used paper, such as newspapers, magazines, packaging boxes and other types of recyclable paper.
This paper is then shredded into small pieces, mixed with water to form a pulp, and processed to remove contaminants such as staples and adhesives. The recycled paper pulp is then made into new paper products, such as printing paper, envelopes and other paper products.
Using recycled paper reduces the amount of paper waste sent to landfills, conserves natural resources and reduces the amount of energy needed to produce paper.
